Take care of yourself with a wellness holiday
Taking a holiday is above all a search for wellbeing and relaxation. It is a moment when you can take a break from work and daily responsibilities and devote yourself to resting and fully regenerating your body and mind.
In today’s fast-paced life and tight deadlines, the idea of a wellness holiday is gaining ground. At the heart of a wellness holiday is the idea of a relaxing stay in places where you can indulge in absolute rest.
Wellness holidays are becoming increasingly popular and in many cases even a requirement as they are being associated with the concept of health. Moreover, medicine itself suggests that body and mind are an inseparable whole and need to be treated simultaneously.
All-round wellness holiday in Borgo San Felice
Borgo San Felice is the ideal place to relax and enjoy an all-round wellness holiday; this medieval village, completely restored, has become one of the most exclusive and sophisticated destinations in Tuscany. Located in the province of Siena, Borgo San Felice is the perfect place where you can combine a spa holiday with a more active vacation, walking, swimming and, why not, enjoying great food.
Borgo San Felice is an ideal venue for a weekend or a longer stay; a member of the Relais & Chateaux chain, it is a magical place that boasts one of the best spas in all of Tuscany.
The wellness area of Borgo San Felice with its 350 square meters dedicated to the care of the body and the senses, has been shaped according to the vision of Dr. Paolo Vranjes, cosmetologist, pharmacist and an expert on beauty, wellness and cosmetics.
The spa offers personalized spa treatments which are the result of constant research and whose goal is to give you an exciting “multi-sensory experience”.
The research starts from the fragrances, personally created by Dr.Vranjes, and then continues with the creation of specific cosmetic products and original and unique body treatments. The Spa employs top quality products produced from carefully selected raw materials.
The Spa treatments at Borgo San Felice are based on the “Tuscany Pleasure” concept, which uses the typical Tuscany environment to create cosmetics and specialized treatments based on oil and wine.
One of the most innovative treatment proposed by Borgo San Felice’s Spa is the Wine therapy: one of the latest discoveries in natural cosmetics which is rooted in ancient knowledge about the benefits of grapes. Among them, their amazing antioxidant cosmetic, smoothing and de-toxing effects, mainly due to the polyphenols contained in the seeds. Bathing in the essence of products made from polyphenol-rich must and a massage with olive oil will make you fill thrilled and regenerated.
For a more active body treat, you will also find a fully equipped gym near the Spa, with advanced machinery and a professional staff that will advise you on what is best for your sport activity.
